Dear Diary,
This morning was exciting as my friend Robin went up on the roof for her "Robin on the Roof" event. She goes up on the roof every year to help bring awareness to the hunger in the world. This year she is hoping to get 150,000 pounds of food donated to the cause which will be distributed to the food pantries and food banks. Donations can also be made on the "Robin on the Roof" website. Every dollar buys 5 pounds of food and will help those in need. She likes to do this event at the beginning of Summer because most people donate during the holidays but it is the Summer when the kids are home from school that the food banks and pantries are low on supplies.
While I was there with her I had a chance to visit with another friend about Chakras who wanted to know more about them and how they work with communicating. I explained to her that we all have these energy centers inside us as they help with the energy that flows through us and out of us. When they are spinning the way that they are designed to spin our physical bodies and energy fields are healthy as they maintain themselves.
The sixth Chakra is the third eye which is important because it is associated with clairvoyance. This allows you to see into the other world. The fifth Chakra allows you to hear the other side. The other Chakras have their purposes and were created to help us live as Multi-dimensional beings as we are both physical and spiritual beings. I did suggest that if she really wanted to learn more about the Chakras a good reference is a book called, The Wheels of Life, "the users guide to the Chakra system," by Anodea, Judith Ph.D
